Who We Are and What We Do

The Children’s Art and Music Workshop began 27 years ago as small art classes for children who loved art and felt compelled to make art every day.

As the classes grew, so did the vision of a creative school that caters specifically to the needs of its young students. Now, almost 30 years later, The Children’s Art and Music Workshop is a haven for creativity, offering a wide variety of Music and Art classes that are perfect for the budding artist or musician!

The Children’s Art and Music Workshop offers a variety of diverse art and music courses designed to enrich our students’ areas of artistic or musical interest.

Classes are intentionally kept small. We believe that children are more receptive to individual instruction geared toward their levels of comprehension and development.

Our teaching approach involves fostering the student’s individuality by encouraging them to make creative decisions about their art or musicianship. Our approach allows the students to react intuitively to new concepts and to develop and maintain their own artistic and musical identities.
